Jovani Hernandez The Nike Air Rift isn’t amongst the brand’s most ubiquitous designs, but it boasts a cult-like following.
In addition to recently returning in original styles, the 27-year-old design has taken on several experimental finishes like the “United in Victory” theme. Other Nike Sportswear staples have already appeared in a “Hemp” colorway accompanied by all-over “UV” patterns. Textile straps across the top and heel of the shoe abandon the eye-catching print for a uniform look that complements their surroundings well. A nod to the “United in Victory” collection lands on the sock-liner, further denoting the shoe as exclusive to women. The sole unit underfoot maintains a traditional ensemble that harkens back to its debut look inspired by Kenyan runners.
