The New Balance 550 Enjoys A “White/Washed Burgundy” Makeover For Women

The New Balance 550 Enjoys A “White/Washed Burgundy” Makeover For Women

The New Balance 550 returned to the brand’s core lineup of products in late 2020. Over the last three years, Steven Smith’s design has emerged in countless styles, including a slew of women’s-exclusive ones.

Recently, the old school basketball sneaker appeared in a mix of white and burgundy colors, creating another exclusive New Balance sneaker for women. The bulk of the leather upper indulges in a “colorless” finish, allowing for branding hits and other supporting details to deviate in shades of red and pink. Stability structures around the heel follow suit, but the outdated sole unit underfoot revert to an all-white arrangement. Together, each aforementioned component helps create another compelling option for women, a core demographic of the NB 550.

Enjoy a closer look at the pair ahead, and anticipate a newbalance.com launch soon.
