Following its two-year hiatus, the Nike Air Flight 89 has returned from the Beaverton archives for an expanded run of OG and inline styles alike, such as this dominant greyscale offering.
Practical palettes now treat the return of the late 80s tooling. Here, the clad leather and nubuck upper dresses in a uniform collection of soft grey overlays and panels. The tonal upper enacts a composition easily attainable all those decades ago while crisp white accents inject a pristine compliment along the profile swooshes, tongue, laces, eye stays, collar lining and trim of the forefoot. Elsewhere, the monochrome composition cleans up in a striking set of jet-black logos as the pitch-dark tint concentrates further throughout the Air Jordan 4-inspired sole unit underfoot.
