Following his annual summer tour to China in the midst of July, Jimmy Butler and Li-Ning have announced the latest colorways of the six-time All-Star’s inaugural signature silhouette.
Dawning some of the most colorful City Edition uniforms in the League, the JB 1 follows up on the start of the season’s “Vice Pack” with a titular homage to Miami’s 2022-23 alternate jerseys. In contrast, a crisp white base helps to illuminate the striking concoction of orange and hot pink hues laid atop the upper. The latter uniform’s amalgamated elements from years past appears in the newspaper clipping-like “MIA” insignia affixed to the heel while a split blue, pink, white and yellow graphic further depicts the uniform’s split aesthetic along the carbon fiber plate.
The “Miracle” colorway honors the Miami Heat’s triumphant rise as the No. 8 Seed over the No. 1 Milwaukee Bucks in the opening round of the 2022-23 NBA Playoffs. Spearheaded by Butler’s astonishing 36.7 points per game, the secondary colorway draws upon the hues of the Heat’s Eastern Conference rival in remembrance of their 4-1 victory. Tan-ish brown accents envelop the sole unit underfoot, while the Buck’s synonymous evergreen shades dress the mid-foot logo and tongue tab.
