Michael Le The Air Jordan 12 “Red Taxi” is set to release on May 18th, 2024 on SNKRS and Jordan retailers for $200. As the name suggests, the retro takes after the sneaker’s original “Taxi” look, but features a “University Red” accent at the mid-foot. 2024 is brewing up to be quite the year for sneakers, as many a much-beloved release is confirmed to be making a comeback. The Air Jordan 12 “Taxi,” too, will be making a return… sort of.
Trading in gold for red metallics, the brand new Air Jordan 12 “Red Taxi” — which, as its namesake implies, draws inspiration from the above-mentioned colorway — is confirmed to be releasing during the Summer of 2024. According to the available mock-ups, the pair bears a very close resemblance to its predecessor, boasting everything from the white quilted upper to the blacked-out mudguard and midsole. The main differences lies in the hardware, which swaps out the original bits of gold for red.
