Bephie’s Beauty Supply And Union LA Tease An Air Jordan 1 Elevate High

With a tentative release date of August 26th, the first linkup between Bephie’s Beauty Supply, Union Los Angeles, and Air Jordan has long been teased. Recently, a never-before-seen Air Jordan 1 Elevate High has emerged, revealing what might make up the trio’s “Summer ‘96” project.

A supporting member to the collaboration’s marquee Air Jordan 1, the sneaker boasts a near-identical arrangement. White leather uppers cover the bulk of the shoe, with a woven interruption wrapping around the retro’s body. Yellow “UN/LA” tabs appear underneath the “Wings” insignia, which boasts punchy pink flair appropriate of the women’s silhouette. Teal stitching reprises its role from Chris and Beth Gibb’s original “Summer ’96” Air Jordan – one that tells the story of how they fell in love – but the aquatic tone also animates profile swooshes. Lastly, the exaggerated sole unit indulges in an “aged” finish that complements not only the upper well, but also the reworked gum outsole underneath.

Enjoy an early look at the pair ahead, and anticipate firm Nike SNKRS launch details soon.
