Sneaker News Not to be confused with the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG “Sky J Mauve” dropping on October 14th, this upcoming Air Jordan 1 Mid release offers up a solid consolation prize with one specific detail that might actually make the Mid better than the High.
Jordan Brand has crafted a clean and simple two-toned leather combination on the upper, overlaying the seasonal red/purple shade above a clean white base layer. The same Sky J Mauve appears on the plush interior lining, rubber outsole, and the Jumpman AIR tongue label. What separates this Mid from the High is the use of the pre-yellowed Sail midsole, which injects that beloved aged/vintage aesthetic. We aren’t going out on too far a limb, but could Jordan Brand have outdone a High with a Mid?
