Craig Green And adidas Craft The Stan Smith Entirely Out Of BOOST

Craig Green And adidas Craft The Stan Smith Entirely Out Of BOOST

Autumn/Winter ’22 seemed to mark a big shift for Craig Green x adidas, as the collection featured the collaboration’s most absurd footwear propositions to date. And while the most divisive of these — the inflated scuba boot, for example — were exclusive to the runway, we can’t help but notice their influence on the partnership’s direction, the effects of which we’re witnessing almost an entire year later.

Much like the E5 sneaker, which first appeared back in June, images of Craig Green and adidas’ latest experiment has surfaced courtesy of leakers. Whereas the aforementioned was a relatively standard affair, this pair is arguably one of the British designer’s craziest offerings yet, as it takes the Stan Smith and reconstructs it entirely out of BOOST. Save for the lining, laces, and accompanying hardware, every part of the upper is made with said cushioning, boasting its signature texture and a new coat of silver paint.

Enjoy an early look at the Craig Green x adidas Stan Smith BOOST right here. At the time of writing this, a firm release date has not yet been shared; for now, sit tight as await confirmation from the brand.

In unrelated news, the Air Jordan 1 UNC Toe is expected to shock drop later today.
