The Nike Terminator may have achieved its cult-classic status through its high-top solution, but the 1985 basketball staple achieves superb summer-ready vibes in its low-top form. Recently, the Terminator Low was added to the upcoming Nike Sportswear collection centered around Japan’s immense collector culture.
Joining the Nike Air Max 1, the upcoming “Sofvi” capsule connects two of the countries’ most adamant types of collecting, shoes and soft vinyl toys. Similar to the Tinker Hatfield design, a semi-translucent PVC film attributes the lime green overlays and mid-foot Swoosh. Vibrant green color matches further appear along the heel’s enlarged NIKE logo and across the tread underfoot bringing a close to the pair’s glow-in-the-dark elements. Accompanied by multi-color graphic insoles, yellow tongue tabs and a cyan blue trim, the titular ensemble imbues the flat leather base layer and midsole in a simplistic clad-cream allure.
The Nike Terminator Low “Sofvi” will be packaged in a branded box mimicking the outer packaging of the aforementioned vinyl toys. Enjoy a detailed look at the pair below as we await further release details in the meantime.
In other news, the Nike Air Griffey Max 2 will be dressing in an homage to the 2023 MLB All-Star Game in Seattle.
