The detailed look at the entire Awake NY x Jordan Air Ship and apparel collection has been revealed by @gc911. The Jordan Air Ship arrives with an aged, pre-yellowed midsole with oxidized outsoles, while a sultry snakeskin print appears at the ankle collar. The brand’s “A” logo appears embroidered at the forefoot, while the Jordan “Wings” logo is modified to feature the NYC-based imprint’s name as well.
The below article was originally published on June 2nd, 2023.
Yesterday, June 1st, crowds full of New York’s finest joined Awake NY in celebrating the grand opening of their inaugural flagship store. And in addition to receiving the very first look at the space, these attendees were lucky enough to catch an in-person glimpse at the streetwear label’s upcoming collaboration with Nike: a pair of Air Ships.
Hung from the ceiling of their Lower East Side hub, the Awake NY x Nike Air Ship sports a mismatched look, with red and blue applied to the right and left pairs, respectively. And in addition to outlining the silver metallic Swoosh, these colors also paint much of the collar, backlighting the blacked-out Wings and subtle pattern work layered over top. The rest of the shoe is much more straightforward, opting for a white leather upper stitched with a letter “A” that’s stylized in Awake’s signature font.
Enjoy a closer look at the Awake NY x Nike Air Ship ahead. No release details have been disclosed just yet, so sit tight and stay tuned for updates.
