Nike’s “Just Do It” Collection Now Includes An Air Max 97 In Purple And Navy

The Nike Air Max 97 is no longer celebrating its milestone 25th anniversary, but it continues to emerge in new styles.

Christian Tresser’s iconic design recently emerged as part of Nike Sportswear’s seasonal “Just Do It” collection. The model takes on a navy and purple color scheme across the upper. Mesh material peeks out via vamp overlay sections, donning a rich purple hue that contrasts the dark blue that appears everywhere else. Computer code-like text wraps around the Air Max 97, including “Just Do It” text and the sneaker’s (intended) release year. Underfoot, the foam cushioning accompanying the full-length Air Max bubble opts for a clean white finish. Lastly, outsoles favor a predominantly black finish while also donning navy accents.

Enjoy official photos of the pair ahead, as you wait for firm nike.com launch details.

In related sneaker news, the Nike Phoenix Waffle silhouette is set to debut soon.
