The Nike Air Force 1 remains one of the Beaverton brand’s most successful silhouettes more than 40 years after its introduction. Come this summer, the iconic low-top model will be receiving an onslaught of colorways exclusive for the kids throughout their three months off from school.
Embarking on the brand’s widely-acclaimed “Panda” aesthetic, the Bruce Kilgore design’s tumbled leather upper enacts a split color-blocking as its vamp, quarter panel and tongue construction come lit up in crisp white shades while opposing jet-black hues contrast the surrounding overlays. Resuming the monochrome pairing across the laces, nylon collar and sole unit underfoot, a lively “Royal Blue” injects a titular swatch within the mid-foot Swoosh and both the tongue and heel tabs that receive colorless branded embellishments.
As we await further release details, in the meantime enjoy official images of the grade school-exclusive Nike Air Force 1 Low “Black/Royal Blue” below.
In other news from underneath the Nike Inc. banner, the Nike LeBron 20 is paying homage to the “Four Horsemen”.
