Widely-considered to be the “Godfather of Japanese Streetwear,” Hiroshi Fujiwara is an indisputable legend, who’s crafted countless sneaker collaborations throughout his career. And though he’s put his spin on many a different silhouette, Fujiwara often makes use of the same colorway, one comprised of white, black, and blue. This has, in effect, permanently tied the color combination to the designer, meaning that almost every inline pair that makes use of the palette will be likened to the work of fragment design.
Much like the Jordan 6 Rings revealed back in April, this Air Max 90 is sure to fall victim to the same comparisons. Here, white leathers lay the shoe’s foundation, building out not only its quarter and vamp but also the toe box and collar a layer underneath. Black, then, details the shoe across the heel as well as the eye stays, while blues help highlight the Swoosh and backlight the branded fixtures adjacnet.
Enjoy a closer look at this Air Max 90 via the official images shared ahead. These should be available soon via Nike.com and select retailers, so sit tight.
Speaking of Hiroshi Fujiwara, a fragment Converse Weapon is releasing on May 11th.
