Kevin Durant Signs Lifetime Deal With Nike

With a belt holding two NBA Championships and Finals MVPs, four Scoring Titles, a regular season MVP and 15 signature silhouettes, Kevin Durant is a certified first-ballot Hall of Famer when all is said and done. Recently, Boardroom reported that the 13-time All-Star had attained yet another lifetime achievement, becoming the fourth-ever Nike Lifer.

Joining the likes of Michael Jordan, LeBron James and Cristiano Ronaldo, Kevin Durant is the latest athlete to be enshrined by the Beaverton brand for a lifetime. While terms of the partnership have yet to be announced, The Swoosh has been slowly carving out the beginnings of Durant’s own sub-brand through the recent retro treatment being cast across his initial signature offerings including the Nike KD 3 and upcoming KD 4 “Galaxy”.

As one of the greatest scorers to ever touch the NBA hardwood continues to vie for Championships with the Phoenix Suns, Nike will be returning the Slim Reaper’s most infamous colorways while continuing to support his grassroots initiatives, playground court refurbishments and AAU program for decades to come.
