The Nike Air Max 1 Golf Dresses Up In The OG “Navy/Red” Colorway

Golf is bigger than ever, with the audience progressively getting younger and younger. And though they’ve previously directed much of their attention to other sports — e.g. basketball, skateboarding, running, etc. — Nike is now investing more heavily in the centuries-old game.

While the brand has refitted many a classic for the sport, the Air Max 1 Golf has seen the most time on the green. For its latest appearance, the model is once again paying homage to a release from ’87, drawing direct inspiration from the OG “Navy/Red” colorway. Besides the branding and sole unit, the pair cuts extremely close to its predecessor, layering white leathers and mesh underneath the upper’s navy Swoosh and mudguard as well its various red accents.
