The Air Jordan 1 Low, Too, Is Receiving An Extra Bit Of Padding

The Air Jordan 1 Low, Too, Is Receiving An Extra Bit Of Padding

The overwhelming success of the Nike SB x Air Jordan 4 “Pine Green” has seemingly turned the Jumpman into something of a skater. Alongside introducing not just one but two “Born To Fly” colorways, the brand is padding up silhouettes such as the Air Jordan 1 Mid, ostensibly so that they’re a better fit for the sport of skateboarding.

And as revealed by way of retailer images, the Air Jordan 1 Low, too, is receiving the very same treatment. And though it may lack the Nike SB cosign, the pair seems equally suited for a skater, as additional cushioning pads both the collar as well as the tongue. What’s more, the exterior is built with what looks to be a robust suede, whose black and a dark grey panels should hold up well to consistent wear and tear.

Complete with yellow leather Swooshes and touches of orange and red, this Air Jordan 1 Low should be hitting select retailers as well as Nike.com soon. As we await, take a look at the pair via the retailer imagery shared ahead.

In other news, official images of the Nike Dunk Low Vintage Navy have surfaced.
