Pro Skater Mason Silva Receives His Own Nike SB Blazer Mid

Named Skater of the Year back in 2020, Mason Silva is arguably long overdue for his own signature sneaker. And while there’s been little word of a namesake model, Nike SB is offering the rising talent the next best thing: a collaborative pair of Blazer Mids.

A fitting canvas considering the skater’s affinity for the model, the Mason Silva x Nike SB Blazer Mid is relatively subdued in its design. “Obsidian” is used throughout much of the construction, painting not only its leather paneling but also the adjacent laces and lining. Equally understated is the Swoosh, whose tumbled exterior is dressed in a somewhat glossy, metallic silver finish. Many of the accents adjacent are then highlighted in a dark green and muted blue: the latter, specifically, details the co-branding and graphic imagery atop the insoles, while the former tints the tongue and the chainlink-inspired logo emblazoned onto the heel tab.

Enjoy an official look at the Mason Silva x Nike SB Blazer Mid ahead. At the time of writing this, a release date has not yet been unveiled; it’s likely, however, that we’ll be seeing these at skate shops and Nike.com before the end of 2023.
