Gucci‘s partnership with adidas — which just launched its second capsule of footwear and apparel — was just the beginning of the luxury house’s foray into sneakers. Back in March, they also debuted their first-ever collaboration with Vans, whose offerings are soon to come to life in the metaverse via an activation right on Roblox.

The Roblox Metaverse has very quickly become a bustling virtual ecosystem made up of countless, meticulously-crafted experiences. And after teaming up IRL, Gucci and Vans are taking their relationship to this digital realm, setting up a bridge between their own worlds.

No two brands of this size have ever come together in such a way in the Roblox Metaverse, marking a very special moment in history for the platform. Together, Gucci Town and Vans World have effectively doubled their digital square footage, using every pixel to host a limited-time scavenger hunt. During the event, players will be tasked with traversing the two connected maps to collect various fabrics and patterns, with which they can redeem two cosmetics items — a shoe accessory and a skateboard backpack — that can be worn by their in-game avatars.
