Gentry Humphrey Spotted In Never-Before-Seen Air Jordan 2/3 Hybrid Model

Over the years, Jordan Brand has toyed heavily with hybrid models, combining a number of elements from the line-up’s best to create sneakers the likes of the 6 Rings and Two Trey. But looking at the Air Jordan 1.5 — a mysterious sample that eventually saw a retail release in 2015 — these experiments used to exercise a bit more restraint. And while they still continue to remix several of MJ’s championship kicks (see: the Jordan MVP 678), there still seems to be a side of the Jumpman that prefers these more straightforward sole swaps.

Gentry Humphrey, the current VP of Jordan Footwear, more than proves this, as he was recently spotted in a never-before-seen Air Jordan 2/3 Hybrid Model. Proffering an execution similar to the above-mentioned Air Jordan 1.5, this pair takes the design of the AJ2 Low and slaps it atop the sole unit of the AJ3. In regards to colorway, the bottom is done up in a “Sail” finish, with hits of red painted along its back half. Above, the upper is clothed in a similar color combination, albeit with white replacing the more vintage-like tone.

Enjoy a quick look at the Air Jordan 2/3 right here. These are currently rumored to be releasing in 2024.
