Jared Ebanks Just a few years ago The Swoosh unveiled the future of their game-centric basketball footwear titled the Greater Than series comprised of three essential design inspirations, Run, Jump and Cut. While the bulkier offering favored by Nikola Jokić and the big man community was recently unveiled in its successive construction, the Nike GT Zoom Jump still has a few tricks tucked away in its double-stacked Zoom Air system, such as its addition to the brand’s latest inline series of footwear.
Pushing their audience to “Unlock Your Space”, the latest general release collection from the Beaverton brand has spanned the near entirety of the banner’s archives, from Air Max cushioned silhouettes to now rendering on-court outfits. Mirroring its contemporaries’ use of a pastel-harkened palette and digital messaging strewn throughout, the GT Zoom Jump embarks on a dominant crisp white upper which comes accented by soft baby blue tongue tabs and mudguards. Elsewhere, hot pink hues inject a titular personality within the exposed sole unit and lace loops while a sunrise gradient of orange-to-pink anchors the sock liner and mid-foot Strobel unit while jet-black shades bring a finite close to the laces, pull tabs and Swooshes.
