Nike Adds “Lilac Mint” Touches To The Latest Women’s Air Max Plus

The Nike Air Max Plus has been celebrating its 25th anniversary over the last four months. As such, the silhouette has emerged in handfuls of fresh new styles.

Ahead of the return of the model’s “Hyper Royal” color scheme, Sean McDowell’s iconic design has emerged in a “Teal” and “Lilac Mint” arrangement. The bulk of the sneaker’s upper enjoys a light blue finish, while the palm tree-inspired overlays around the heel favors a purple tone. Tongues, inner-lining, and mudguards revert to shades of aquatic blue. The midsole’s foam construction opts for a yellowed look that injects vintage sensibilities into the classic from 1998. Whale tail-shaped mid-foot shanks, and Tuned Air and Air Max bubbles also partake in the upper’s colorful ensemble.
