Kith Reveals New Balance 998 Collaboration On Shoes Master Vol. 39 Cover

Kith Reveals New Balance 998 Collaboration On Shoes Master Vol. 39 Cover

Ronnie Fieg recently unveiled the latest Kith x New Balance 998 collaboration on the cover of Shoes Master.

Expected to launch before 2023 ends, Fieg and company’s unreleased project falls in line with the NB 998’s 30th anniversary. On January 4, the Queens-native hinted at working on the early 1980s running sneaker via Twitter. A larger rollout is likely in the works, but the first look at Kith’s next New Balance has been provided by Japan’s Shoes Master.

Featured on the cover of the magazine’s 39th volume, the shoe is covered in multiple colors; whether or not the sneakers are intentionally mismatched or if they form part of two styles is unknown. What’s certain, however, is that the upcoming collaboration takes on a more vibrant makeup than past NB 998’s by Fieg. Premium pig suede covers the majority of the upper, opting for disparate hits of red, green, orange, and blue. Autumn-friendly tones land at the tongue and around the collar. ABZORB cushioning features a white finish that allows the upper to enjoy the spotlight.

Enjoy a closer look at the pair ahead, while you wait for official release details.
