Recently disputing a report that suggested LeBron James could return to play for the final few games of the regular season, a right foot injury has continued to prevent the four-time Champion from aiding the Lakers in one last playoff push through the final weeks of the season. While James’ final potential contests in his 20th NBA season may be coming to a close in a few weeks, The Swoosh is simultaneously delving out his 20th model’s last slate of general releases.
Eerily similar to the theme and colorway behind the Nike LeBron 9 “Watch The Throne”, the latest ensemble of James’ 20th signature silhouette comes dressed with premium embellishments for a king. Coating its knit base layer in a near-clad pitch-black upper, the lateral side’s shadowed Swoosh undergoes a seldom silver tint while its presiding Check, dubrae, tongue stitching and eyelets receive a repeating swatch of “Metallic Gold”. Underfoot, a contrasting assortment ensues, decking its crisp white midsole in an array of black speckles while an icy blue semi-translucent finish is applied in its staple finish to the tread.
Scheduled to release on April 6th for a retail price of $200, in the meantime enjoy official images of the Nike LeBron 20 “Black/Metallic Gold” below.
