Sneaker News After revealing first looks at the Nike Dunk Low Twist “Jade Ice” and “Vivid Sulfur”, we’re now approaching the official images phase of this modified Dunk model in its most popular color yet – Panda.
This Twist-ed execution of the Dunk follows a series of attempts by Nike to remix the model to appeal to women. Some have been polarizing hits, like the first Dunk Low Disrupt with its exaggerated dimensions, while others have totally gone under the radar – like the Dunk Low Disrupt 2. The Twist stays truest to the ’85 model’s original DNA as you can clearly see the classic look at the center, but Nike has chosen to add fat padding on the heel and tongue – a futurist SB look – while adding exterior foxing at the toe and heel for protection against scuffs. The Swoosh also a bit of that AMBUSH effect with its elongated tail.
The Black/White “Panda” colorway is one of several confirmed for this women’s release, so stay tuned for more official images to surface as we await the official retail release. Prices are currently expected to be $120 for the base model.
