It hasn’t been very long since the return of the New Balance Rainier, which was brought back late last year thanks to a collaborative push from none other than Aime Leon Dore. The silhouette has gone on to release several inline styles in the months that followed, with the OG kicking things off at the top of 2023. Soon, even low-top versions of the classic will be added to the catalog, starting with this “Glazed Ginger” colorway.
Drawing heavy inspiration from its high-top counterpart of the same name, the New Balance Rainier Low “Glazed Ginger” compromises little — save for height, that is — in the way of construction. Leathers wrap the toe, profile, and heel in the titular brown, matching the adjacent laces, lining, and “NB” branding. Underneath, the base avoids copying the aforementioned pair to T, forgoing “Dark Denim” in favor of “Classic Crimson.”
Rounded out with blacked-out lug soles and metallic silver hardware, the New Balance Rainier Low “Glazed Ginger” is slated to release through select retailers on March 29th, with NewBalance.com likely to follow suit.
