Maharishi Brings A Muted Olive Phoenix To The Mizuno Wave Rider 10

Maharishi is on schedule to bring its military garb-inspired aesthetic to the Mizuno Wave Rider 10 on March 17.

The first collaboration between both institutions, the unreleased sneaker features an olive-colored canvas around the sidewalls’ RunBird logo to depict a phoenix. Suede and sustainable nubuck cover the bulk of the upper, sitting atop AIRmesh base layers in a muted green color. Tooling underfoot is kept intact from 2007 – the Wave Rider 10’s launch year – with an off white and drab green sharing real estate. Lastly, co-branding lands on the tongue, heel, and footbed, marking the special linkup between two international institutions.
