Nike frequents the Air Max 90 Futura just as often as the original — and much like its more iconic predecessor, said model is slowly making preparations for Air Max Day 2023. This pair, though a bit more understated relative to its previously-revealed counterparts, seems to be just as much a part of the upcoming celebration.

What it lacks in color this Air Max 90 Futura makes up in texture. Alongside a series of suede overlays, which wrap the shoe in near entirety, the pair incorporates a mesh base, thick rope laces, and a Swoosh chiseled in a way reminiscent of the most ornate of architecture. What’s more, Nike borrows inspiration from needlework for the branding printed into the sockliner.
