DTLR’s Gumbo Racing-Inspired PUMA Cell Speed “Turbo” Is Forever Faster

DTLR’s Gumbo Racing-Inspired PUMA Cell Speed “Turbo” Is Forever Faster

DTLR has had a long track record of footwear collaborations tapped in with the cultures of the areas in which it has storefronts. For its latest collaboration on the PUMA Cell Speed, the storied retailer has drawn inspiration from gumbo racing culture for a supercharged project.

Built for those “behind the wheel” literally and figuratively, the Cell Speed by DTLR features light grey suede and breathable mesh across its upper. Lace loops and accents throughout the sole unit favor bolder primary colors. Formstrip overlays on the quarter panel take on a black carbon fiber aesthetic; iconic “PUMA” branding also appears on the car-inspired detail. Underfoot, proprietary Cell technology peeks out around the heel, while rubber traction rounds out the fast-oriented collaboration with yellow and red flair.

Enjoy a detailed look at the pair ahead. The PUMA x DTLR Cell Speed “Turbo” hits DTLR.com and DTLR stores on March 10. Adult pairs are priced at $90 USD, whereas Grade School sizes cost $75 USD.
