Since debuting his inaugural signature silhouette with Jordan Brand during his 55-point performance at All-Star Weekend, Jayson Tatum has since indulged in the full slate of introductory flavors cast across his Jordan JT 1. From the barber shop to his hometown of St. Louis, the four-time All-Star took the court last night for his 25th birthday in a gift from Jumpman, a specially crafted “Blueprint” inspired colorway.
While the initial slate of offerings for the JT 1 rendered personal inspirations from the reigning All-Star MVP journey to the League, the latter dominant “Royal Blue” pair instead draws its design elements from the initial sketches and rough drafts of his first signature model. Harkening to the early design stages with crisp white detailing, the entirety of the forefoot dawns a grid layer with descriptions outlining the infused technology and cobbled-together panel whereas the opposing Jumpman and JT logos placed along the heel render scaled sketches. Contrasting the near-clad blue ensemble, Tatum’s typical game-time personalizations render in jet-black sharpie with “DEUCE” inscribed on the heel.
While it remains to be seen if the aforementioned colorway will be reserved as a Player Exclusive or scheduled for a general release, in the meantime enjoy a first look at the Jordan JT 1 “Blueprint” below.
For more under the Jumpman banner, official imagery of the Air Jordan 4 “Thunder” was recently made available.
