Jared Ebanks Rarely is the Air Jordan 14 taken for a spin outside of the Beaverton brand’s archives, most typically retro’d in the silhouette’s OG color blockings associated with the late 90s release. Yesteryear, however, saw the silhouette synonymous with Jordan’s sixth NBA Championship dress in a compelling stretch of newly crafted inline constructions. After months of previews, the latest in the latter’s expanded color palette arrives tomorrow in the women’s exclusive Air Jordan 14 Low “Metallic Silver”.
While the aforementioned expositions in the “Laney” and “Ginger” 14s indulged in a titular aesthetic, the latest Jumpman tooling for the ladies drums up a polished sheen finish extending from the toe to the heel that further entrenches the silhouette’s luxurious roots. Illuminated by seldom pops of “Fire Red” atop the tongue and heels, the Ferrari-inspired model comes housed in a specially crafted box and wrapping that features a topographical map of the US – which additionally coats the bright red insoles.
