Earlier this year, adidas Basketball did the same for Donovan Mitchell to commemorate his own 71 point performance. Now, in light of Dame’s astounding 71-point performance on February 26th against the Houston Rockets, adidas Basketball has dropped prices of Damian Lillard footwear, including the Dame 8 and Dame Certified, to $71.
Additionally, adidas Basketball has created commemorative From 0 To 71 billboards in front of the Blazers’ home arena at the Moda Center as well as in the city of Oakland where Dame calls home. The billboards went up on the night of February 28th before Portland’s game against the Golden State Warriors.
Finally, adidas Basketball will be donating $71,000 to a charity of his choice to further the impact he has in his community.
