Earlier today, Nike revealed official images of the Dunk Low “Timeless,” which borrowed inspiration from an entirely different classic: the Zoom Vomero 5. Little did we know, however, that the runner itself would also be joining the collection, offering up the inverse to its Peter Moore-designed counterpart.
The Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Timeless” isn’t simply influenced by the Dunk Low. To be more accurate, the pair is obsessed with the sneaker’s very image, affixing the panels of its muse to its own construction. Dyed in black, these leather overlays — which wrap the toe box, eye stays, and heel — are attached to the upper via the lace unit. Underneath, the runner would be entirely standard if not for the spliced tongue label and pack-exclusive branding along the insoles.
Enjoy a closer look at the Nike Zoom Vomero 5 “Timeless” ahead. A firm release date has not yet surfaced, but it’s likely we’ll learn more relatively soon.
In other news, two A Ma Maniere Air Jordan 5s are expected for Holiday 2023.
