Jared Ebanks Back in 2014, Jordan Brand returned the famed low-cut construction of the Air Jordan 6 for the first time since 2002 using the banner’s beloved “Infrared 23” ensemble. Continuing to expand their Golf centric lineup with an extension of iconic shades and color blockings, the latter synonymous Jumpman accent collects on the brand’s latest silhouetted constructed for the green.
Having last touched down across the AJ 6 as a part of 2019’s “Reflection of a Champion” pack – albeit with a silver metallic finish – the low-top silhouette returns after removing its air bubble in 2015 with original 1991 embellishments such as the synonymous black, icy blue and red sole unit. Reserving a dominant majority of its heavily perforated leather upper for a brightened cast of white, jet-black and “Infrared” pair together across the tongue and heel counter signaling yet another trip down memory lane for the brand’s golf-centric lineup. Bearing witness to MJ’s first NBA Championship, the pair perfectly fuses the staple visible Air cushioning system underfoot with an icy blue semi-translucent finish harkening the model’s OG roots while black spikes and vibrant red “GOLF” branding bring a renovated conclusion to the silhouette.
