Jordan Brand’s Holiday 2023 Wings Collection To Include Five $1,300+ Air Jordan 1 85’s

Over the past decade, the union between high fashion labels and sportswear brands has become commonplace. And while this type of partnership hasn’t always produced compelling product, it’s always resulted in higher price tags. Institutions like Jordan Brand, however, have experimented with their own high-end products, which will include a series of Air Jordan 1 ’85 models come the holiday season.

The collection, which has yet to be revealed by the brand, is believed to range between $1,300 and $1,500 for Low and High versions of the original Air Jordan model. Premium materials are expected of the retros, with the lineup raising funds for Jordan Brand’s Wings for the Future initiative, one that raises scholarships to underprivileged youth in North America and the Greater China region. Since 2014, the program has helped organize over 1,800 full-ride college scholarships.

The upcoming expensive Air Jordan 1 options will feature colors such as “Summit White,” “Black,” “French Blue,” and “Wolf Grey.” Branding details throughout the pairs will likely boast golden finishes appropriate of the occasion and high MSRP. Packaging will also likely be custom, with pairs potentially being numbered out of a limited amount.

Hang tight for official release details and images of the shoes here. A Nike SNKRS launch should take place between October and December.
