Towards the tail end of 2022, the New Balance 650 reintroduced a wide array of team-based, inline colorways for its dedicated fanbase that routinely returns to the idolized silhouettes of the 80s and 90s. And after starting off the new year with a trio of collaborative efforts with Junya Watanabe, the 1995 release now indulges in a greyscale appearance with slightly aged embellishments.
Boasting its typical leather and mesh tooling, a concocted wave of “Light Aluminum” and “Rain Cloud” embark across the forefoot and heel’s supple nubuck build while an illuminated “Marblehead” fills the adjacent mesh collar and tongue construction. Treating each of its presiding panels to a disparate undertone, a seldom-aged aesthetic comes infused into the “Off-White”-tinted sole unit underfoot in tandem with the tongues trim and the bulbous mid-foot “N” insignia. Casting a dark grey tone across both the toe and heel sections of the tread underfoot, the remaining 650 and NB branding enjoys a lasting greyscale finish.
Set to release next Tuesday, February 7th for a retail price of $139.99, enjoy official images of the New Balance 650 “Light Aluminum” below in the meantime.
In other news, the Nike LeBron 4 “Graffiti” is rumored to be releasing for Holiday 2023.
