Roger Federer is, in no uncertain terms, a living legend. But after over two decades, the athlete has ultimately decided to put up the racket, meaning many of us will never have the chance to witness his revered play. There is, however, opportunity to relive a piece of Federer’s history, as the Swoosh is ushering back the Nike Zoom Vapor Tour AJ3 in a “Racer Blue” colorway.

Following news of the silhouette’s return late last year, official images of the Nike Zoom Vapor Tour AJ3 “Racer Blue” have finally surfaced. A dual-sided homage to two the biggest icons in all of sport, the sneaker lies at the intersection of tennis and basketball, combining elements of Federer’s on-court silhouette with Michael Jordan’s much-beloved Air Jordan 3. Clad in Elephant Print, Jumpman logos, and a leather construction further akin to MJ’s signature, the forthcoming colorway adds to a number of past nods — “Black Cement,” “Fire Red,” and “White Cement” — albeit this time without the “RF” logo.
