Splitting its silhouette down the middle, Nike’s retro-inspired “Split” concept is set to touch down on the Air Force 1 Low after denoting a slew of constructions across Jordan Brand’s offerings.
Proffering split-blocked treads, midfoot Swooshes, tongue tabs and insole branding, a tonal greyscale effort envelops the cracked leather overlays while crisp white leathers treat the base layer in the only two unchanged embellishments. Harkening 80s-inspired “Lucky Green” eyelets pulled directly from the Air Jordan 3, further disparate washes of color flip the midfoot Swooshes in a black and grey arrangement while the tongue tab proffers a combination of old-school and updated branding which ensues along the insoles. Coating its midsole in a vintage-hued cream, a lasting split arrangement dresses the varying grey tread underfoot in conclusion.
