Clearly inspired by the workboot look championed by the Timberland’s iconic 6″ Classic Boot, the New Balance 550 now arrives in an unmistakeable “Wheat” suit as it is covered in that signature dark tan shade from head to toe. The only break comes via the dark mocha brown interior lining and the slightly lighter shade of the construction-site yellow on the ankle and tongue, but this New Balance 550 release hits on all cylinders for those that can’t get away from this rugged look.
