Jovani Hernandez Founded by Anthony Piscopo in Covina, Calif. in 2010, Pawnshop Skate Co. has played an important part in developing a skate-obsessed community east of downtown Los Angeles. Before 2023 ends, the team will launch its first Nike SB Dunk High collaboration.
First teased in early August 2022, the pair features a predominantly black-colored arrangement throughout its upper. High quality leather covers everything from the forefoot to the collar area, with golden details across the mid-foot and rear sections of the pair introducing stark contrast. Inner lining also indulges in the aforementioned contrasting hue, as those co-branding on the tongue label, special “OLDSOUL” messaging on the tongue’s underside, and lace aglets. Together, each component helps create a special, first-time Nike SB collaboration for the resilient Pawnshop Skate Co. team.
