The New Balance 9060 Comes Cured In “Navy”

Following the silhouettes collaborative collection with Chicago native Joe Freshgoods, the New Balance 9060 has gone on to proffer a revitalized slate of inline offerings coordinating titular compositions and contrasting tonal efforts. 2023, too, is set to enjoy a continued run of the perennial Dad sneaker with the latter now enjoying a vintage-hued “Navy” proposition.

Dividing the varying materials of the upper from its chunky and exaggerated sole unit through disparate light and dark embellishments, a diverse wave of slightly different Navy hues envelop both the upper’s mesh base layer and stitched suede overlays. Combatting the near-clad coat with seldom grey accents placed along the forefoot and heel tab, a metallic silver finish renders the midfoot “N” insignia before its crisp white trim expands along the fuzzy nylon sock liner and lacing structure. Providing a seldom tonal transition by way of the semi-translucent heel clip, cream and white shades pair to bring a lightened conclusion to the ABZORB midsole and black tread underfoot.
