Vans To Launch A “Year Of The Rabbit” Slip-On Collection Exclusively At BILLY’S Tokyo

BILLY’S Tokyo has been releasing exclusive collections from some of the sneaker space’s most important players for quite some time, with the latest paying tribute to the “Year of the Rabbit” celebration via three pairs of the Vans Slip-On.

While not as experimental as the accompanying DIY Hi VLT LX, the unreleased trio favors an all-over print across its canvas upper. A graphic of a “yin-and-yang” symbol done in the style of two rabbits in contrasting tones cover the entirety of the top-half, with the only difference between all three Slip-On styles being the images’ backdrop: black/white, red/white, or green/white. Foxing is extended higher on the upper, making for a different look and improved functionality from standard versions of Vans‘ classic silhouette. Branding throughout the shoe forgoes any call-out to the Japanese retailer despite launching exclusively through its stores.

Enjoy a closer look at the trio ahead, as you wait for an official drop via BILLY’S Tokyo on Sunday, January 1st, 2023 at 10 AM (local time).
