Prior to their work with New Balance, ASICS, PUMA, and the like, JJJJound kicked off 2022 with A BATHING APE. 2023 is seemingly starting much the same way, as the Montreal-based design studio recently shared a first look at their newest, collaborative pair of BAPE STAs.
Closely following the footsteps of its predecessor, the upcoming JJJJound x BAPE STA is understated in both its design and colorway. Much like the past year’s effort, white leathers are used for the shoe’s base; the STA logo and many of the fixtures adjacent, on the other hand, have swapped out light greys for a dark navy. And though the lining, the outsole, and the branding across the tongues follow suit, the “JJJJound” printed onto the heel tab is likely clad in a brighter neutral.
