Faux Rabbit Fur Adorns The Nike Blazer Mid ’77 “Leap High”

Lunar New Year has seemingly taken over the entirety of The Swooshes extensive archives, exploring a trio of Nike Dunks on top of tapping an Air Huarache Craft, an Air Max 90 Futura and Air Max TW. Shifting away from the air-infused cushioning propositions, the latest Nike Blazer Mid ’77 harkens the aesthetic of the upcoming Year of the Rabbit to a T.

Aesthetically driven by the rabbit’s crisp white fur, faux furry details envelop the entirety of the tongue construction and heel counter while color-matched thin wax laces wrap around the latter and through crimson red metallic eye stays. Anchoring the aforementioned titular shade along its sock liner and vertical spine below, a palette of pastels is then extended through the Swooshes light pink hue and midfoot’s tan-shaded overlay. White embroidered floral details lay claim to the outer midfoot panel whereas the sole unit concludes in a cream-colored finish speckled with seldom brown and gold accents.
