A “Raincloud” Look Covers The Next New Balance Rainier

A “Raincloud” Look Covers The Next New Balance Rainier

Aimé Leon Dore helped reintroduce the New Balance Rainier into the brand’s core line of products, leading the way for a slew of ready-available styles. The latest?: A “Raincloud” look.

Akin to other takes of the Mt. Rainier-inspired boot, the upcoming offering features a mix of suede, leather, and fabric across the upper. A mix of New Balance-appropriate shades of grey take over everything from the toe box to the lower heel overlays, delivering a muted proposition that abandons the animated flair of other made-for-the-trails products. “NB” logos are embroidered onto the profiles and tongue label, while lace loops opt for a shimmering silver finish. Underfoot, the Vibram® sole unit provides tried-and-proven traction for the most unpredictable of terrains.

No firm newbalance.com launch details have been disclosed by the brand, but that’s likely to change soon. In the meantime, enjoy official images of the pair ahead.
