Spray Paint Splatter Decorates This Nike Air Force 1 Low

Spray Paint Splatter Decorates This Nike Air Force 1 Low

Over the last 40 years, the Nike Air Force 1 Low has been tied to sports, fashion, culture, and music unlike most other sneakers in history. For its latest ensemble, Bruce Kilgore’s design has taken on a graffiti-inspired look to seemingly harken back to its origins.

A predominantly white look takes over most of the sneaker’s upper, though greyscale spray paint “splatter” and textile panels inject some contrast into the makeup. Profile swooshes and upper heel overlays indulge in a light grey-colored hairy suede that provides further contrast to the thematic Air Force 1, matching the outsole underfoot in tonal arrangement. Logos on the tongue label and sock-liner introduce a vibrant, heritage-appropriate orange hue into the mix, with the latter area donning a spray paint can graphic in action. Lastly, the midsoles boast a semi-yellowed finish that nods to either masking tape or vintage footwear for a final conceptual touch.

Enjoy an official look at the pair ahead, as you wait for Nike.com launch details.
