Salehe Bembury Teases Upcoming Footwear Collaboration With Moncler

As early as his very first team-up with New Balance, sneaker culture has kept a watchful eye on Salehe Bembury‘s movements. After taking the title of Sneaker Designer of the Year in 2020, the former Versace VP has teamed up with a number of names outside of the aforementioned, including Crocs, Brandblack, and Anta. And come very soon, yet another industry giant will be added to the list: Moncler.

In the past, Moncler dipped their toes into the world of sneakers with the help of existing icons, previously delivering Converses and ASICS GEL-LYTE IIIs alongside fragment design and KITH, respectively. Now, the label is letting their own designs do the talking, designating Bembury’s talents to the colorway. From the available teaser, we can see the designer’s penchant for vivid tones on display: the shoe, save for the greyed laces, relies little on neutrals, with shades of pink, orange, green, and red applied to the various suede, leather, and canvas fixtures.

For a quick look at what Moncler and Salehe Bembury have in the works, see below. A firm release date has not yet been revealed, but we should learn in due time.
