Nike Experiments With Tri-color Soles On Dunk Low “Chicago” Slated For 2023

Nike Experiments With Tri-color Soles On Dunk Low “Chicago” Slated For 2023

The Nike Dunk Low continues to be in-demand, but it’s gotten a lot more accessible than it was even just a year ago. As the late Peter Moore’s iconic inches closer to a new set of 365 days, it continues to experiment with storytelling, materials and color combinations.

Recently, a predominantly red and white style surfaced on social media, quickly drawing comparisons to the Air Jordan 1 “Chicago” that debuted in 1985. Unlike the Nike SB Dunk “J-Pack,” however, the pair isn’t a one-to-one nod to Michael Jordan’s first signature model. Instead, the upcoming low-top delivers profile swooshes and sole units split using three tones: grey, off-white and black. There may be a compelling story behind the design, but that’s yet to be announced by the brand. The Nike Dunk might also be a lot less coveted whenever the next “Chicago” finally drops, but fans might warm up to the tri-color accents enough to have the style immediately sell out.

Enjoy an extremely early look at the pair ahead, courtesy of Instagram user @woganwodeyang, and anticipate the shoes to hit Nike.com in the first-half of 2023.
