Following a slight change in scenery, Russell Westbrook’s move from starter to the second unit has rekindled the punch behind his game. And while the Nike LeBron 20 has so far reigned supreme as the go-to silhouette for non-signature wearers on the Lakers, the nine-time All-Star and Jordan Brand have been working diligently behind the scenes to craft Brodie’s latest signature silhouette, the Jordan Why Not? 0.6.
While no technological information has been released regarding the pair, recently leaked images see the silhouette enact an Iron Man aesthetic, employing a dominant red shade across its semi-translucent grid-layered upper and reinforced lather overlays that come affixed with titular yellow brand embellishments. Color-matched across its ridged sole unit and pebble-grain tongue construction, the inner bootie proffers further bright yellow hues whereas the forefoot’s zipper shroud is made up of the “WHY NOT?” phrase flipped either right side up or upside down. While a seldom inclusion of black lines the inner tongue, lemon-colored accents return to dress the tongue’s Jumpman alongside its appearance underfoot along the tread.
As we sit tight on official word regarding a release date for the pair, in the meantime enjoy a first look at the Jordan Why Not? 0.6 below.
