Following this summer’s surprise blockbuster trade, Donovan Mitchell has since taken the next step in his superstar ascension with the Cleveland Cavaliers, leading the youthful squad to a near spotless 8-2 start to the season. While the three-time All-Star now dawns the burgundy and gold, The Three Stripes still plans on releasing this Utah Jazz-inspired proposition of the adidas D.O.N. Issue #4.
Utilizing the Jazz’s former navy, yellow and green color palette, the silhouette extends a white and “Team College Gold” digitized knit construction across the black base of its LIGHTLOCK upper. The latter half of the silhouette – including its mesh tongue and laces – proffer “Team Navy Blue” hues that further render a clad composition throughout the sock liner as well as the nubuck textile of the heel counter and its suede embossed name tag. Elsewhere, the forefoot and heel’s adidas insignias come clothed in a seldom green sampling while underfoot, the model concludes with a bright white sole unit and icy blue semi-translucent tread.
As we sit tight on the pair’s expected release date within the coming weeks, enjoy official images of the D.O.N. Issue #4 “Utah Jazz” below in the meantime.
