INVINCIBLE has been collaborating with New Balance for several years now. But it wasn’t until 2020 that the retailer brought in Japanese label N.HOOLYWOOD, who assisted the Taiwanese storefront in ushering back in the 2002R. Fast forward almost two years exactly and the trio is back at it again, this time dressing up the aforementioned runner in a GORE-TEX upgraded colorway entitled “Blue Moon.”
Releasing in honor of INVINCIBLE’s 15th Anniversary, the 2002R GTX “Blue Moon” is constructed of both smooth and shaggy, premium suede. Both are colored a dark shade of navy, matching the adjacent mesh inserts and tongue, the latter of which features collab-specific insignia as well as the branding signature of Daisuke Obana’s N.HOOLYWOOD. Additional logos mark the toe box, heel, and all four of the included lace options.
In complement to the 2002R, N.HOOLYWOOD, INVINCIBLE, And New Balance have crafted a four-part selection of apparel, which includes an Anorak Jacket, Crewneck Sweatshirt, Track Pant, and Tee.
For a closer look at the entire capsule, see below. A raffle will be held on https://www.invinciblesp.com from October 27th to November 2nd.
